Why we opened

Jo and Chad

You'll usually find one of them at the register. Jo's interest in real food started with her grandmother's cancer diagnosis and the questions that came after it. Years later, after moving to the Lowcountry, she wrote a business plan for the kind of store she couldn't find here — one where the meat has a farm behind it, the milk is raw, and someone behind the counter can tell you which. Chad named it.
